ADSR (Project 6)

For this project I used Poizone, FPC, and FL Slayer. I made a synth using the ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope in Poizone.I moved the attack to a little bit under the halfway mark to give each note a quick attack. I moved the decay all the way down to make each note decay very fast. I set the sustain and release in the middle. I used FPC for a drum loop. I used the Bass Punch preset in FL Slayer for a bass. I used the riff machine with the synth and wrote the bass in piano roll to go with the synth. I used an automation clip to fade the bass in and out.

Poizone (Project 5)

In this project i created my own synth using Poizone. First I mixed Oscillators A and B at 50%. I then played around with the knobs in both oscillators until i found a sound that i liked. I liked Oscillator B's sound a little better so I turned the balance a little bit more towards B. I changed both oscillators from saw waves to pulse waves to make it sound softer. Then I started tweaking knobs in the Filter section. i turned the cutoff to 65% and the Resonance to 0%. I created the beat by writing it in the piano roll and made a few patterns that were slightly different from each other to make it less repetitive. I added two drum loops using FPC and ended the song without using drums at the end.
